For most pitched-roof PV jobs in the UK, yes. It depends on height, pitch, array size and how panels are lifted. A simple one-elevation domestic roof may only need a working lift at the eaves plus guardrails. Warehouses, both roof planes, or any job moving glass modules at height usually need a full platform, loading bay and often a stair. We survey against your layout, not a generic tower.
